Drivers will be responsible for the safely and timely transportation of equipment and materials to and from job sites. Must be a strong communicator, team player and safety minded with a clean driving record.

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with foreman and material distributors.
• Daily pre-checks.
• Equipment loading and unloading and transportation to job sites.
• Material delivery to and from job sites.
• Ability to use GPS to navigate to job sites in a safe & timely manner.
• Upkeep of daily mileage logs.
• Ongoing vehicle maintenance and timely reporting of all vehicle-related issues.

CDL Driver Requirements:

• Carry a valid CDL and medical card.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Our equipment operators assist in all areas of the paving process to help produce high quality work every time!  They safely and efficiently operate various equipment on the jobsite including but not limited to: Paver, Screed, Roller, Excavator, Grader and Skid Steer.

Preferred applicants should have experience working as part of a team, with an understanding of various aspects of the paving industry including: preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving, patterns, and compaction. 

Mechanical abilities and driver’s license preferred but not required.

Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all equipment is used in accordance with company safety regulations.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment i.e. cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks.
• Ensuring equipment is properly positioned before turning it on and off, or loading and unloading it.
• Training new crew members in the safe operation of equipment.
• Identify and promptly report any equipment faults or concerns to the Supervisor or Foreman.
• Performing other construction duties as needed.
• Ensuring sites are kept clean and safe.

Equipment Operator Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License preferred but not required.
• Prior experience operating equipment.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• A strong willingness to abide by all safety regulations.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Applicants should have a strong work ethic, be team oriented, safety minded, reliable and willing to learn and follow directions.

Asphalt Laborer Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading the equipment and tools.
• Use of crew tools including: asphalt/concrete saw, plate compactor, hand tamp, broom, shovel, pick, asphalt rake, wheelbarrow, blowers, small hand tools.
• Sweeping and cleaning the jobsite before and after paving.
• Willingness to assist in all aspects of the paving or sealcoating project.
• Ability to stand for long periods in all weather conditions.
• Assist in traffic control.
• Ongoing maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Willingness to learn and teach others.

Asphalt Laborer Requirements:
